Richard P. Boyle, DDS and James E. VanGilder, DDS

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to six (6) additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. Boyle and Dr. VanGilder manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions, practicing a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise and caring attention to their patients.

Our office can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

Our doctors are Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

Staff

The surgical staff are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants (DAANCE), who assist in the administration of IV sedation and surgery. They are BLS and ACLS certified. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.

The office staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in medical and dental insurance policies, ICD-10, CPT, and CDT coding and are also BLS certified.
